Garde · For company owners

Know who wants to buy your company.

And what they’d pay, without anyone knowing you looked. Garde sorts the buyer emails you already get, checks who’s serious, and keeps all of it private.

Free · Works by forwarding, from any email account · Nothing shared without your approval

The problem

If your company is any good, buyers are already writing to you.

Most of it is noise
Private equity funds, brokers fishing for a mandate, newsletters and vendors all sound the same. Telling the serious buyers apart takes time nobody has.
Valuations come with a catch
The only numbers most owners ever see come attached to an offer to buy, from someone who wants a low price. They're hard to trust.
Replying feels risky
Answering a buyer can look like a sale signal to employees, clients and competitors. So the emails get deleted, the good ones with the rest.

How Garde works

Five steps. The first takes a minute.

01

Forward buyer emails to Garde

Forward any buyer email to your private Garde address, from any email account. Garde finds the original sender inside it, checks who they are and files it by firm. Garde sees only what you forward.

  • Works for every owner today, with any email provider
  • A Gmail filter or Outlook rule can forward them for you
  • Connecting Gmail or Outlook directly is in pilot while Google and Microsoft review Vendu

02

See who's serious

An AI reads each buyer email: what kind of firm sent it and what it wants. Then Garde checks the sender's own website and a list of known buyers, because an email can sound like a buyer when it isn't. When the readings don't agree, Garde asks you instead of guessing.

  • Grouped by firm, with how often each has written
  • PE funds, search funds, family offices, strategic buyers and brokers told apart
  • Newsletters, lenders and vendors filtered out, with the reason shown

03

Reply only if you want to

For a firm you're curious about, one click drafts a polite reply. It thanks them, says you keep a record of interested firms whether or not a sale is planned, and asks them to share their criteria instead of calling.

  • You read and approve every reply before it's sent
  • It never says your company is for sale
  • When a firm shares its criteria, you're notified

04

Build the model buyers price on

Drop whatever documents you have. AI reads them and pulls out every figure with its period, and you confirm each one. Garde then builds the model: your history, an adjusted-EBITDA bridge, and the add-backs and gaps its analyst found, each with the passage it relies on.

  • PDF, Excel, CSV, Word and PowerPoint
  • Nothing is used until you confirm it
  • Only you can see it; buyers see nothing unless you invite them

05

See what they'd pay, anonymously

When you're curious, run a price check. Each fund whose criteria fit prices your confirmed figures with its own model, the same way it would price a real deal. No fund learns who you are.

  • A range from each fund's own model, with an explanation
  • Every number computed in code, never invented by AI
  • Each quote lists the figures it assumes and re-prices if they change

Confidentiality

Nothing about you moves until you decide it should.

Owners worry, rightly, that a leak or a sale signal can hurt their company. Every line below is enforced by the product, not promised in a policy.

Who sees what, stage by stage
Only you see them
No fund, buyer or other Vendu user can see the emails that reach Garde or the firms they come from. It's enforced in the database, not just hidden on screen.
Nothing goes out without you
Garde only sorts. A reply is sent only when you click it, only to a firm that already wrote to you, and it never says your company is for sale.
No one learns you use Vendu
Vendu never tells a firm about you. Checking a sender's public website doesn't reveal who asked.
Yours to delete
Email text is deleted after 90 days, and you can delete your address and everything in it at any time.

When you decide to sell

Garde runs your side of a competitive sale.

If you ever decide to sell, you choose which funds continue. The sale runs on Agora, Vendu’s neutral market, and the runner-up offers stay live until you close.

Invite only the funds you choose

Backups that stay live

FAQ

Questions owners ask.

I'm not selling. Is Garde for me?

Yes, that's who it's for. Most owners using Garde aren't selling. They want the buyer emails handled, to know who's serious, and a sense of what their company is worth, without anyone knowing they looked.

Does using Garde tell anyone I'm selling?

No. Garde never contacts anyone on its own, and a reply it drafts says you keep a record of interested firms "whether or not a sale is planned". Funds on Vendu see only an anonymous profile, and only if your company fits their criteria.

Does Garde read my email?

Only buyer emails. When you forward, Garde sees only what you forward to it. In the Gmail and Outlook pilot, Garde never looks at email from people you've written to; for new email from anyone else it sees the sender, the subject line and whether it's a mailing list, and reads the full text only of emails from investment firms, M&A advisers and buyers. Buyer emails are visible only to you: no fund, buyer or other user can read them. Email text is deleted after 90 days, and you can delete everything at any time.

Can Garde send or delete my email?

No. Forwarding gives Garde nothing but the emails you send it. The Gmail and Outlook connections, in pilot while Google and Microsoft review Vendu, are view-only by default: Vendu can't send, change or delete anything. A reply Garde drafts goes out only when you click Send.

How much work is it?

About a minute. Forward a buyer email to your private Garde address, from any email account, and Garde files it by firm. Connecting Gmail or Outlook directly, so Garde checks your last 90 days and keeps watching new email, is in pilot while Google and Microsoft review Vendu.

What does it cost?

Your Garde address and buyer-email handling are free. A price check, which shows what funds' own models would pay, is a paid service in our pilot.

Does AI decide anything?

AI reads and sorts: it labels emails, extracts figures from your documents and flags possible add-backs. It never sets a price and never contacts anyone. Every price is computed in plain code from figures you confirmed.

What's coming next?

Garde negotiating within limits you set, and read-only connections to QuickBooks and Xero so your figures come straight from the source.
